School Exchange - Scotland

St Tiernans hosted the AGM of the European Schools Association.  We welcomed colleagues from eight countries across Europe.  As part of the AGM, training was provided in the use of the Moodle platform by the Education Department in Maynooth University. Nigel Metcalfe and Angela Rickard gave a very informative three hour workshop. This platform will form the main means of communication between the partner schools in the many projects that will be undertaken in the next two years.

As part of the activities organised, the group visited Belfast and got an excellent tour of all quarters of the city. This visit tied in with the overall theme of the ESA projects which is „”Removing barriers through multi-cultural education‟.
